Stelmi America, Inc., formed in January 2002, is a mill volume producer of long length hard chrome plated steel bars. Using an advanced chrome plating process that is completely new to the North American market, Stelmi America will produce long length hard chrome plated steel bars with a market focus on the hydraulic cylinder industry. These cylinders are used in the production of construction, agricultural, forestry, mining and highway equipment, and in a wide variety of other mobile and material handling equipment.

STELMI hard chrome plated products have proven themselves through many years of use in over 34 countries across the world. This global recognition has been gained by providing a cost effective premium product offering superior corrosion resistance, uniformity of plate thickness and impeccable size accuracy. All this while being the most environmentally friendly system in the entire chrome plated steel bar industry.
